About Us

Count Catula’s is the first officially registered Transylvanian cattery with the World Cat Federation (WCF), proudly dedicated to the preservation and development of this unique and historic breed.

Founded and owned by Beverly Elian, an international WCF Allbreed Judge, Count Catula’s represents the heart and origin of the Transylvanian breed. Beverly Elian authored the original breed standard, introducing the distinctive “Carpati” (reverse roan) pattern that has become the hallmark of the Transylvanian cat.

Based in Bucharest, Romania, and registered under WCF through Magnificats Club RO-028 MAG, Count Catula’s serves as the main international reference point for the breed’s development and its novice recognition within the WCF.

With a deep commitment to authenticity, heritage, and feline excellence, Count Catula’s continues to guide and shape the future of the Transylvanian breed, ensuring it remains a proud symbol of elegance and origin.
