Selection · Health · Diversity

Preserving a natural breed requires discipline.

The programme aims for coherent type, documented health, stable temperament and genetic diversity. The Carpati coat matters, but it is not the only criterion.

01

Documented health

Genetic screening is used as a selection tool and interpreted within the limits of the tests performed. It is not presented as a universal health guarantee.

02

Type and standard

Selection follows the proposed standard and avoids turning one visual trait into the purpose of the entire programme.

03

Temperament

Gentle, trusting behaviour is selected as a breed trait without claiming that every individual will behave identically.

04

Diversity

Matings are evaluated in the context of pedigree and the available population; the site does not turn that practice into an unsupported claim about diversity across the entire population.

Kitten placement

Not every kitten has the same role.

Some kittens are suitable as companions, some remain under evaluation longer, and others may stay to continue the programme. Public status reflects that evaluation, not a sales tactic.
